UK To Med B (One Way Only)

UK To Med B (One Way Only)

This Med B route runs via Thionville and Nancy to allow access to Belgium, Germany and Switzerland and also drops off at Calais, Epinal, Beaune, Macon, Lyon, Valence and terminates at Orange.

This established route has proved extremely successful with our clients and allows access to Belgium, Switzerland and Germany.

Calais - Start your journey from the very north of France with its historic heritage through to the Pas-de-Calais and the Arras region and further afield.

Thionville - Situated on the Moselle River and not much more that 20 miles from Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, Thionville is an excellent location for soaking up the contrasting culture.

Nancy - Very well placed for access to the Vosges region. As short train journey links Nancy to Strasbourg and Mulhouse thus providing access to the Rhineland, Lorraine, Jura and Switzerland.

Epinal -For the Semaine Fédérale. The old town centre features the Place des Vosges, the Chapitre district, Saint-Maurice's Basilica, medieval castle remains and the Roman House (11th and 13th centuries).

Beaune - Scenic routes north to the Parc Régional du Morvan and quiet roads south to the Jura Mountains. Low gears needed!

Macon - Explore the Jura Mountains, head east to the Alps or south east to the plateau of the Dombes, or enter the Massif Central for some excellent cycling.

Lyon - Well placed for the Jura Mountains, the Chartreuse, French Alps and Lyonnais Mountains.

Valence - Starting point for exploring the Vercors. Tough climbs reaching 1000ft high, offer superb views and easy riding once you're up there. Further east the mountains of the Alps offer snow capped scenery and the chance to tackle some of the classic mountain passes.

Orange - Go west to the Ardeche or head east into Provence and enjoy Mont Ventoux or the mountains of the Luberon and the Gorge du Verdon. Easier cycling can be found in the Rhône Valley.
