| Excellent start point for exploring the Vercors (to the East of Valence). The tough climbs to reach this 1,000 metre high plateau are rewarded by superb views and easy riding once you’re up there, plus there are plenty of off road riding opportunities. Further east the Alps offer some superb snow capped mountain scenery and a chance to tackle some of the classic mountain passes. | |
